WRITING GROUP

When: Every Wednesday at 6:30pm

Where: Kohler Pavilion room 14000D (parking is free)

What: A weekly writing group with fellow young adult cancer survivors. On a typical session, we freewrite on three or four different writing prompts and members who wish to share their writing with the group are given the opportunity to do so. All members are encouraged to respond to each others' work with positive feedback and thoughtful discussion.

Cost: FREE

Who Can Attend? Young adults (18-40) with any kind of cancer experience. Current patients are welcome, those who have been in remission for years are also welcome. We've also welcomed members who are coping with the loss of a loved one. You do not need to have received treatment from OHSU.

How to Join: Shoot me an e-mail and let me know you're interested in joining the group. There's no application process, we just like to know how many people to expect on any given week.

Looking for other ways to get involved with other survivors? Our group is funded by Notes of Hope, an annual storytelling concert and fundraiser brought to you by the HHH Foundation. Learn more about that here:
