We all bring to our relationships different assumptions, expectations, confusions, and insecurities—and we bring them to the theater as well. As our culture finally begins to push back against the preconceived traditional notions of gender and sexuality, these conversations are important ones to have.
What’s exciting about this show is not just that it’s funny, modern, and a little outrageous, but also that it’s an open door to a larger discussion about our cultural notions of gender and sexuality. I feel so grateful to have another opportunity to step into that world.
