Impressed with the hard-working, dedicated, hilarious cast of 36 Perfectly Appropriate Mealtime Conversations at Hillsboro Artists' Regional Theatre. It's a real joy to watch them breathe life into the characters in my script. They are young actors who have taken on the herculean task of learning numerous parts in a play that requires each cast member to play a different role every night that its performed. So essentially every night of the show is opening night. Not a single performance is ever repeated. It's terrifying and exhausting and overwhelming and really a thing of beauty to watch them tackle it with so much enthusiasm. I'm so proud
